Victor Caivano


Victor R. Caivano (Buenos Aires, 1974) studied Communications at the University of Buenos Aires and Journalism with a espcialización in Photojournalism at the University of Texas at Austin, USA

He began his profesional experience at the Daily Texan a 40,000 circulation copies universitary journal and the Ventura County Star in California. In 1997 he started to work with Associated Press in Dallas, Texas. Between 1998 and 2003 Victor was a photographic correspondent for the AP in Miami, Tegucigalpa and Mexico City. From 2004 and 2008 he was Photographic Chief in Brazil. After this he assumed the same charge in different countries like Spain and Portugal until the end of 2011, year in which Victor retook his full-time photographic career at Rio de Janeiro.
