ADELINA

The photographs that integrate this book /dummy were made by Adelina Dematti (June 5, 1927) Mother of the Plaza de Mayo, Argentina during the years from 1977 till the return of democracy. The images also correspond to the disappearance of his son Carloss, kidnapped and disappeared on May 5, 1977, and the following years Adelina dedicated to his search, and to the formation of the Human Rights organization "Madres de Plaza de Mayo" during the Civic Military dictatorship. Today all these images are part of the Historical Archive of the Province of Buenos Aires and were declared "Memory of the World" by UNESCO in 2007. The project plans to include an annex with photographs taken by Adelina during democracy.
