Gisela Volá: Photographer, teacher and cofounder of the Sub collective, created in 2004. Her work deepens in the creation of a collective identity through long term photographic investigations works that explore the creation of a collective identity, addressing social, political and environmental issues of photographic research projects. Through Sub her essays are published in many national and international publications like Le Monde, Le Figaro, Petra, Der Spiegel, Die Zeit, Gatopardo, Etiqueta Negra, Rolling Stone, Viva, Crisis, THC, Anfibia, Infojus etc. She has participated in more than 30 exhibitions in the world; she has also been awarded with Picture of the Year Latin America, 1° Prize at Cuenca’s Art Biennale, among others. Currently she is working on the edition of her book "Wishes" of South American women. She’s also working on the curatorship of the exhibition "Family" with Sub to be held in Buenos Aires.
